Founding Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

As a Founding Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building the Reific platform. You will be responsible for the entire stack, from designing database schemas to implementing complex frontend interactions. We value engineers who care deeply about user experience and are obsessive about performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Implement complex, interactive UI components using React and Next.js.
• Manage database schemas and migrations (PostgreSQL).
• Optimize application performance and load times.
• Build collaboration features (real-time commenting, presence, version control).
• Scale our infrastructure on AWS/Vercel.

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js, Python, or Go on the backend.
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and ORMs (Prisma, Drizzle).
• Eye for design and attention to detail (CSS animations, layout engines).
• Experience specifically with 'shadcn/ui' or 'Radix UI' is preferred.
